“Whether it’s the intricacies of high school or a world war, we’re the ones to stick our fingers into the world’s blood and paint the walls with hellish scribbles: with sigils of frowns, smiles, and glowing pentagrams. We summon demons to capture their likeness”

-Me

I’m a freelance writer currently studying at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, majoring in Writing for Screen and Television.

I’ve always had a deep love for nearly every form of writing—poetry, short stories, playwriting, and screenwriting, and I’m constantly searching for new ways my work can change lives, bring people together, and help break through the social and physical boundaries that separate us. I’m dedicated to expanding my craft, continuously experimenting with new genres and styles to push the limits of what I can do as an artist.

In addition to writing, I have experience directing documentaries, short films, and theatrical productions. I’m a proud member of the International Thespian Society. My documentary A Choice was a finalist at the Student World Impact Film Festival, and I’ve received 1st and 3rd place awards for original work at the Northern California Play Festival—including a 1st place award for Best Directing.

I also host a podcast series available on Spotify called “First Draft | Final Word.” On the show, I explore topics ranging from film history and reviews to more personal, vlog-style discussions with fellow SCA students. I encourage you to check it out—and if you have any ideas for film-related topics you’d like to discuss, feel free to reach out by email. I’m always open to collaboration. Seriously... if you love film as much as I do then I guarantee you we have a lot to talk about.

Art, storytelling, and the act of shaping words will always be close to my heart. My writing aims to unearth the truthful fantasy buried beneath life’s surface—but I don’t believe the words themselves dictate the journey. It’s the taming of words and the domestication of stories that can truly make a difference.
